Pickled Red Onions

Do you love the taste of simple? Here's a little sleeper that will wake up the food on your plate + add a dose of vavoom to your life!

 

1C sliced red onion

1 clove garlic

1T honey (optional)

1t salt

1/2 t peppercorns

1C apple cider vinegar

Slice onions 1/4" thick and place in glass jar. Put remaining ingredients in small saucepan and bring to boil. Pour liquid over onions, let cool. Eat immediately or store in refrigerator for 3-4 weeks!
